This will make you think twice about going on a roller coaster again. Invertigo, a roller coaster at Great America theme park, malfunctioned on Monday, trapping 24 people on the ride for much of the afternoon. Rescue crews used cherry pickers on aerial ladder trucks Monday to remove two dozen people stranded between 40 and 80 feet off the ground. All of the riders were back on the ground by 6:00 p.m. about four hours after the roller coaster came to a stop.
I like it how the newscasters were giggling and laughing.
