Sidney Crosby: Greatest Hockey Player?

Before I begin, OVECHKIN FANS, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE! :) Much appreciated.

In all honesty, I know many of you will NOT agree with this statement. You may throw out names such as: Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr, Steve Yzerman, Gordie Howe, Mario Lemieux, and maybe even Alexander Ovechkin (cough* showoff *cough). But, do all of you really think YOU could come up with enough reasons to state that those men, some who are now long retired, could compare to the 22 year old phenom himself, Sidney Crosby? If you do, be sure to mention them in the comments. Thats if your daring enough, because im sure you'll get quiteee the comment back! Sidney already showed great promise, before the 2005 entry draft as being labelled "The Next One", and has proven himself thus far.By his second season, he led the NHL with 120 points (36 goals, 84 assists) and captured the Art Ross Trophy, becoming the youngest player and the only teenager to win a scoring title in any major North American sports league. That same season, Crosby won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the most valuable player as determined by the Professional Hockey Writers Association, and the Lester B. Pearson Award, as the most valuable player as determined by the NHL Players Association. On May 31st, 2007 Sidney Crosby became once again, the youngest captain in NHL history. After, only 2 years of being named captain, Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins captured the Stanley Cup against former Stanley Cup Champions, Detroit Red Wings. In all fairness, even those, crazy enough not to watch hockey, knows the name Sidney Crosby when they hear it. I mean come on, hes the Reebok representative, Gatorade representative, and not to mention began his own clothing line SC87. Whether you, or anyone else crazy enough to read this, fail to recognize the true talent of a young man, i go without doubt that Sidney Patrick Crosby (who is with out a doubt in no relation to Andy Samberge) will indeed rein as the Greatest Hockey Player to ever live.

Don't agree with me? I will fight you ;)
That is all.
