right now. I'm sitting stuck in a local Burger King looking out on
the city's mobile command unit. I don't know what happened but it's
something serious. They won't let me inside my neighborhood to go
home. I've never seen so many police cars in one place before. More
than 100. And there's at least 7 ghetto birds(helicopters) in the sky
circling the area. I'll keep you posted.

I live across taft in westview and have been trying to figure out what was going on all day. Nothing on the news and this is all I can find related to this on the internet. Helicopters, cops, someone told me there was a accident on johnson and douglas then I heard cops were searching for robbers. Is it still going on??
When I was driving around, I saw a police car and another car on a wrecker. From looking at the two cars, it looked liked the police car was crossing an intersection and the other car t-bonded it right in it's side. There was so many police cars flying around on the road, I'm surprised that there wasn't anymore crashes.
It seems to be over. They police cars that were posted on my block are gone and the helicopter stopped circling the block like 1 1/2 hours ago. I haven't looked in the Planet Fitness Plaza to see if the command center was still there.
From I heard, it was cops looking for robbers who had Uzis.
Yeah the shopping center is empty! Ventured out to see if it was over. I can't believe with the way the news is here that is wasn't on any of the channels. That is crazy!
I don't know what's wrong with south Florida news. But it was kinda cool seeing all those cops working. we got a great police force here in Pembroke Pines.
